“At first when I heard about the intensive driving course I was a bit sceptical about it but had heard from friends who had done the course that it was a massive time saver and you get better results. When I started the course I met Dave who throughout the course was really friendly and taught at a standard which I found to be outstanding. I finished the course just under one week and managed to pass with only 3 minor faults! I am really pleased with the way Dave had taught me, he taught to such a professional standard and would recommend other people to do the intensive course and to be taught by Dave.”

“Thanks so much for your help and patience - even in my completely brain-less moments! I've learned such a lot that I am sure will really help me, not only to pass the test, but for safe driving afterwards. The best thing for me was you never said I had a confidence 'problem' and so I never felt like I did have a problem when I was driving with you and that made all the difference. Before I had no idea how to fix this problem that my other instructors had gone on about and so I was starting to feel like I'd never be able to drive - which only made it all worse. I think the course really helped too as I could see a natural progression and had a target date to work towards as my goal, so thanks for your work in putting that together and in getting me the test so quickly. I can't thank Dave enough for helping me learn to drive. He was a great teacher. Very kind and patient and his easy going manner and knowledge helped me pass my test at the very first attempt.
I would heartily recommend him to anyone looking for a driving instructor. We got on very well and he put me totally at ease even when I had a bit of a nightmare lesson. He reassured me that I had the skills and if I just relaxed I would pass my test with flying colours and he was spot on. I only had the skills because of his ability as a teacher and I was absolutely thrilled when our work paid off straight away.
He was very flexible regarding lessons, excellent with the technical stuff and a great help in general.

Passing my driving test was one of the best feelings in the world and I cannot thank Dave enough for all of the support he has given me.
Dave booked me in for my test so quickly, I really felt like he wanted the best for me and wanted me to pass as soon as possible. He really motivated me to keep going and has been so reassuring the whole way through. I have complete trust in Dave and he has been my friend, not just my driving instructor.
I am so grateful and would recommend him as a driving instructor to anyone. I decided to ask him to sit in the car with me in my test. Knowing he was there was a huge comfort and helped calm my nerves- it really worked because I passed! He has a fantastic pass rate and a superb teaching method, even if you are having a bad lesson (which we all do) Dave's sense of humour and positive attitude encourages you to try try and try again.

I would like to sincerely thank you Dave for all that you have done since I began my driving lessons. You were so kind and patient throughout which was a tremendous help to me.
It was fantastic how flexible you were in regard to lessons and the support you gave me before my test was second to none. Your calming nature certainly helped to combat the nerves when it counted. It was unbelievable when I passed my test with only 2 minors and I firmly believe that was all due to the fantastic instruction I had received since October.
I think the LDC system worked perfectly (even if I didn’t do the reading when I was supposed to) as it made me think about things in a very logical manner. I would strongly recommend Dave to anyone who is thinking about starting driving lessons as his cheerful nature picked me up when I was having a down day which in turn helped build my confidence considerably.

“I started learning to drive about 15 years ago when I was 17 with my Dad. So getting back behind the wheel of a car all these years later was more than a little daunting, but with Dave's patience and expertise it was easy. I had chosen one of the LDC intensive courses as I was moving house and would need a car to get around. Dave was excellent in accommodating this and the course was brilliant value. Needless to say the house fell through, so the pressure was off a bit, and Dave's flexibility meant we could keep the lesson's going.
Dave is an excellent instructor who I would recommend to anybody. His patience, friendliness and calm nature make you feel completely at ease. I felt that I was learning at my pace and the work book and DVD really helped in those early stages. I passed my test on my second attempt and though I am over the moon I have passed I really miss Dave! My husband wants to learn to drive too, so as soon as he is ready we will be picking up the phone to book Dave and his Mini."

I needed to learn to drive in a short space of time and loved the idea of the LDC system with the workbook and DVDs.
